A Pilot Who Gives Every Flight a Purpose
Justin McShane is a passionate private pilot with a simple but powerful belief: aviation should serve humanity. When he's not in the cockpit, he's building an online community through his social media channels and Substack — and every dollar those platforms generate goes directly into making the next compassion flight possible.
As a volunteer pilot with Angel Flight East and similar humanitarian aviation organizations, Justin donates his time, skills, and now his entire content monetization to cover the real costs of flying patients — many of them cancer patients — to and from life-saving medical treatment facilities they could never afford to reach otherwise.
"I became a pilot because I love to fly," Justin says. "But the moment I made my first Angel Flight East mission and saw the relief on a patient's face, I realized this was what the plane — and everything I do — is really for."
The Full-Circle Mission
Justin runs two YouTube channels, an active Instagram and Facebook presence, and writes regularly on Substack. Rather than keeping those proceeds, he routes 100% of net earnings into funding his volunteer missions — paying for avgas, aircraft operating costs, and coordination fees so that every patient flies completely free.
Follow the Mission
Follow Justin's flights and stories on Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube — every like, view and subscription literally lifts a patient into the air.
